Another successful kid’s camp was held this week at the Turner Center and students were thrilled with their artsy gifts to give to friends and family. This is what last minute ‘shopping’ looks like for the kids in Winter Camp at the Center, Dec 20-21. Led by Art Education Administrator Harlee Webb, Artist-in-Residence Annette Crosby, camp leader Tisa Newbury and art instructor Bailey Bullard, 11 children attended the two-day camp to make wooden Christmas ornaments, door hangers, collage Christmas tree canvas art pieces, as well as their own designed wrapping paper, in which they wrapped their handmade gifts.
