END OF YEAR GIVING

Ends December 31, 2023

In the spirit of the holiday season…

…the Lowndes/Valdosta Arts Commission and the Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts are grateful for so many things…and, YOU are at the top of our list! Creative spaces are essential to all communities; and your continued support of the Turner Center has helped us contribute to the sustainability of our local community, economy, tourism, schools, and neighborhoods, and so much more, through creativity and innovation.

Together, we have so much to look forward to in 2024, such as free admission into seven art exhibits throughout the year, Presenter Series performances, SCORE music appreciation concerts, the annual DrawProject auction to raise scholarship funds for VSU art students, Youth Art Month, Spring Into Art, American Soundtrack, Music in the Art Park, ARToberfest, art and music classes, support for local authors, a variety of youth and adult programming, a beautiful Gift Shop, and glass art classes at the Richard Hill Glass Studio! In addition to all of the wonderful current amenities, the recent groundbreaking of the Meta Shaw Coleman Children’s Imagination Station, a 10,000 square foot immersive world of hands-on STEAM activities scheduled to open in 2025, has stirred excitement in our community and will peak the interests and inspire the future career trajectory of our youth.

We invite you to “Grow With Us” as our End-Of-Year Giving Campaign draws to a close! As you consider your end-of-year donations, we ask you to think about what the arts mean to you, your family and our community. Your thoughtful contributions may qualify for a 100 percent tax deductible gift if made by midnight, December 31, 2023.

Thank you for your continued support in and friendship with the Turner Center.
