The Turner Center for the Arts was established, survives and thrives through the efforts of volunteers. We welcome people who love the arts and want to work to preserve and promote all aspects of this critical element in our lives.
Turner Center for the Arts Volunteer Opportunities
Art Ambassador
Our Art Ambassador program is one of the most important volunteer opportunities available at the Turner Center for the Arts. When you walk into the gallery, our Art Ambassadors are the first people you see smiling at the front desk. Duties include assisting at the reception desk by answering the phones, greeting visitors, and performing light clerical work. Ambassadors are able to designate their own hours each month, usually for three-hour segments. This program is overseen by our volunteer coordinator, Linda Grondahl, and our Senior Office Admin. Background check required. You can fill out our Volunteer Application, call 229-247-2787, or send an email to Adia McGhee, [email protected], to express your interest.
