The Turner Center for the Arts is now seeking talented musicians and community sponsors for its highly anticipated 2026 Music in the Art Park Concert Series, running from June through November on the second Friday of each month.

The Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts is calling on community members to roll up their sleeves and join in its Annual Clean-Up Day on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This year’s event carries special significance as volunteers will help prepare the grounds for the highly anticipated opening of the Meta Shaw Coleman Children’s Imagination Station.

Hundreds gathered on April 13 for the 39th Annual Spring Into Art Gala, hosted by the Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts. More than 300 pieces of original art created by over 150 regional artists were entered into the region’s most prominent art exhibition and will remain on display through June 10, 2026.

The Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts will host Folk, Soul, and Pop artist Thunderstorm Artis at the Turner Center Art Park, 605 North Patterson St., on Fri., April 24, 2026, 7PM. The concert is the sixth of eight (8) free, live performances in the 2026 Levitt AMP Valdosta Music Series, sponsored by the Levitt Family Foundation, The Price-Campbell Foundation, and supported by WALB News 10, Lamar Advertising, and the Valdosta Daily Times.

The Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts will host the 39th annual Spring Into Art exhibition with the highly anticipated Spring Into Art Gala, which will take place 6-9 pm on Monday, April 13, in the main building located at 527 N. Patterson Street, Valdosta.

The Turner Center for the Arts is proud to announce the launch of its April fundraising campaign, “Tracks to the Future,” in support of the upcoming Meta Shaw Coleman Children’s Imagination Station, set to open on May 23, 2026.

This month-long campaign invites the community to invest in the future of local youth by helping fund final expenses for the highly anticipated Imagination Station—an innovative, 10,000 sq. ft. interactive space designed to inspire creativity, exploration, and career awareness among children across South Georgia.

Blues and soul artist Jed Harrelson will take the stage at the 2026 Valdosta Bluesberry Festival on Friday, April 10, at 7 p.m., as part of the Turner Center for the Arts’ Levitt AMP Valdosta Music Series. The concert marks the fourth of eight free live performances in the 2026 Levitt AMP Valdosta Music Series, made possible by the Levitt Family Foundation and The Price-Campbell Foundation. This special concert will be held off-site at Unity Park Amphitheatre, located at 301 E. Central Avenue in Valdosta.

The Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts will host Indie Americana artist Chloe Kimes at the Turner Center Art Park, 605 North Patterson St., on Fri., March 27, 2026, 7PM. The concert is the third of eight (8) free, live performances in the 2026 Levitt AMP Valdosta Music Series, sponsored by the Levitt Family Foundation, The Price-Campbell Foundation, and supported by WALB News 10, Lamar Advertising, and the Valdosta Daily Times.

The Turner Center for the Arts launches its fourth season of the Levitt AMP Valdosta Music Series on Saturday, March 14, with Country artist Mark Taylor at the Azalea Festival, Noon-4 p.m. The March 14 concert will kick off eight consecutive weeks of FREE, live music events for the community.
