Youth Winter Day Art Camp 2024 Booking

Camp will take place January 3, 2024, 10AM-4PM
Ages 5-11
Instructors/Artists: Tisa Newbury, Hunter Pope, and McKenzie Simpson | Assistant: Iliana Liborio
Held on the Turner Center campus at the Art Annex (601 N. Patterson St.), Hudson Pottery Studio (104 Webster St.), and Main Galleries (527 N. Patterson St.)

Enrich your child’s creative talents in Winter Art Camp! Campers will explore a variety of materials and create their own work. Each class is taught by experienced artists and educators who will build the skills for students to connect with art in new and exciting ways. The education team creates fun and engaging art projects while also creating an experience like none other! Students will enjoy a winter camp experience that will spark creativity and enhance skills, while building confidence and stretching their imagination.

The below class schedule is subject to change at the Center’s discretion.
10-11:30AM: Pop-Up Winter Books with instructor Tisa Newbury
11:30AM-12PM: Lunch
12-2PM: Ceramic Fridge Magnets with instructor McKenzie Simpson
2-4PM: Cubist Snowman with instructor Hunter Pope

Campers will eat lunch at facilities on the Turner Center campus as determined by instructors and Turner Center staff members. This will most likely be the Main Galleries, Art Park, or Art Annex, but other Turner Center buildings and their surrounding areas may be used if needed.

Available day/time illustrates the schedule of the 1 day art camp, with only TWELVE spots available. Registration closes on Tuesday, January 2, at 11AM.
