Raku Firing Sessions

Must be a Turner Center for the Arts Weekday Pottery Class student who has taken at least 4 classes (1 month) during the last 12 months.
$25 additional fee for clay applies - students will create works to be fired during Weekday Pottery Classes and/or Ceramics Open Studios at the Turner Center, using special glazes for pieces intended for raku firing.
Held beside the Richard Hill Glass Studio - 506 N. Ashley St.

Available days/times are only on highlighted days, with TWO participant slots per available time slot (FOUR time slots available on each offered day). Registration closes the Friday before scheduled sessions at 2pm. Each participant must bring either 1 large bisque piece (8 inches or more in height and/or depth) or up to 3 small bisque pieces (ideally 5-7 inches in height and/or depth), created in Weekday Pottery Classes or Ceramics Open Studios at the Turner Center using clay purchased through the Turner Center and raku glazes provided by a Turner Center instructor.
Must be 16+ years of age to participate in open studios.

PLEASE NOTE: Failure to follow these policies may result in excusal from class without a transfer/refund, as our policies are designed to protect and assist each of our patrons (e.g., closed-toe shoes are our only attire policy and are required to protect our patrons from sharp objects such as glass, etc.).
