Bike Repair & Maintenance Workshop

Saturday June 20th & 27th 9 am till 12 pm.
Learn how to repair your own bicycle!
These workshops are aimed at helping beginner and intermediate cyclists understand how their bikes work and how to keep them functioning properly. Main focuses will be on:
1.Shifters/ deraileurs
2.Brakes/ brake levers
3.Wheels/bottom bracket/ headset/ pedals
4. tires.
Tools will be provided as well as some components. Both Western Auto and Valdosta Bike Center have offered to donate some parts.
This will be an all volunteer run & donation based event which will hopefully be the first of many.
Children under 14 are welcome to attend with an adult present.
We are looking for donations of old or unused bikes we can fix for members of the community as well as volunteers to help organize and teach.
