Thankful Tree Workshop
Sunday, November 24 | 3-5pm
Are you trying to find a Thanksgiving activity that encourages kids and adults to take a moment to consider their gratitude? As guests arrive for Thanksgiving dinner, ask them to write a note of thankfulness to hang on a thankful tree! In this class, students will use hand-dyed wool from the instructor to make their own feather thankful tree. Students will complete the tree in class and be given small cardstock leaf cutouts for thankful notes! The finished thankful tree makes an excellent center piece or gift for the holidays.
Standing Wool Ornaments Workshop
Friday, December 6 | 6-9pm
Did you know that beautiful works of art can be made from wool scraps and thread from previously used fabrics? In this class, you will learn how to make circle quillies and how to transform them into beautiful ornaments. Your kit, which is included in the class fee, has everything you need to complete each of the ornaments pictured to add to your holiday décor!
Drawing Class
Class meets 2nd Saturday of each month | 1-3pm
Do you have a child who loves to draw? Looking for a class to help your child grow their skills in and knowledge of the arts? This class will be focused on a different drawing technique each month. These topics include value, optical illusions, gesture drawing, and much more. Students will learn the basic tools needed to push their drawing skills to the next level no matter what style of art they like to make, while also having fun!
Colored Pencil Class
Class meets 2nd Saturday of each month | 1-3pm
In this class, students will study drawing, color theory, composition, and the use of value with colored pencils as a fine art medium. This is a great class for all experience levels with colored pencil! Students will start by learning basic color pencil skills, and move towards the development of more advanced skills and a deep appreciation for the medium.
Craft Academy
Class meets 3rd Saturday of each month | 2-4pm
In this class, students get crafty to explore various techniques and materials. Each class will focus on a new and fun project that students can take home and enjoy! In November, students will create fall-themed cards - perfect for sharing holiday greetings.
