GLASS ARTS

Through glass art classes in the Richard Hill Glass Studio, the community of Valdosta and and surrounding areas can enjoy learning the art of glass. Classes in stained glass, fusion, flameworking, and glassblowing, as well as open studios, offer students ages 12+ a variety of opportunities for creativity!

Glass Mosaics Workshop

Thursday, August 20 | 6-9PM
Registration Deadline is Wednesday, August 19 @5PM

Students will use specialty tools to cut and shape sheet glass, then glue the glass into a colorful mosaic pattern! No prior experience is needed. Please allow a minimum of 72 hours after the class for art pickup, to allow the instructor to grout and seal the mosaics. Closed-toe shoes are required. All supplies provided.

All Glass Arts workshops are held in The Richard Hill Glass Studio, 506 North Ashley Street. All glass art materials used must be provided by the Turner Center, unless they are approved as kiln safe for use in open studios per the listed requirements. Due to limited availability NO REFUNDS will be given unless you notify the Center 48 hours prior to class by calling 229.247.2787. All registered class attendees will be notified and refunded (if attending a paid class or workshop) in the event of a cancellation by the Turner Center.
