VALDOSTA, Ga., (November 15, 2022)—The Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation, a social impact funder supporting nonprofits nationwide at the intersection of music, public space, and community building, has announced that The Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts in Valdosta, Georgia has been awarded a multi-year Levitt AMP [Your City] Grant Award of $90K in matching funds to present a free outdoor music series at Turner Center Art Park in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
The Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts will host the 5th annual ARToberfest on Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Turner Center Art Park located at 605 N. Patterson St. The festival observes National Arts & Humanities Month, celebrates the talent of local and regional artists, and highlights the arts’ remarkable impact on community life.
