PAINTING

These classes allow students from all experience levels to enjoy and learn from various artists and explore a variety of painting mediums and techniques. Students are given the freedom to express themselves, explore, and take risks in a safe and non-judgmental environment.

Paints & Pastries

Class meets 2nd Monday of each month | 6-8pm

This beginner-friendly, monthly class is an excellent way to try your hand at acrylics or brush up on your skills! Students will paint a different subject each month and learn new skills in the process. The skills include mixing, underpainting, value, layering, blending and more!

Paint & Sip

Class meets 2nd Tuesday of each month | 6pm – 8pm

In this fun and relaxing class, students will learn how to create a work of abstract art! Class material includes learning about color schemes and different materials in a step-by-step approach to creating your own work of art. All experience levels are encouraged to participate in this monthly class! This abstract flower project for April 2024 is back by popular demand!

All classes are held in the Art Annex, on the main campus of Turner Center for the Arts, 601 N. Patterson Street, unless otherwise noted.
