POTTERY

Pottery classes teach hand-building, pinch pot and coils techniques using a slab of clay. Students learn how to mold and manipulate the clay, apply glazes, learn simple ceramic vocabulary and have an understanding of firing techniques.

Kid’s Saturday Pottery Workshop

Workshop meets 1st Saturday of each month | 10am – Noon

This class is offered for students to learn and explore three-dimensional design with clay. This is a hand-building class. Limited seating available.

The Kid’s Saturday Pottery Workshop is held in the Hudson Building Pottery Studio, on the main campus of Turner Center for the Arts, 104 Webster Street.

The Center follows safety policies and precautions as recommended by the CDC.
