Friends of the Arts,
Due to the anticipated arrival of Hurricane Idalia on Wednesday, August 30, the Turner Center for the Arts will be closed so that our employees can safely be with their families.
That means all classes or events that are scheduled for Wednesday, August 30, in any of our facilities have also been cancelled.
We expect the weather to be suitable for our Levitt AMP Valdosta concert on Thursday, August 31, but please visit www.turnercenter.org or follow us on social media to get the updates.
We appreciate the emergency management guidance provided by the City of Valdosta and Lowndes County leadership (https://www.lowndescounty.com/148/CodeRED), as well as all of our first responders. We pray that you will heed their warnings for your safety and the safety of your loved ones.
