Bob Malone to Perform at the 2024 Levitt AMP Valdosta Music Series

The Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts will host music industry veteran Bob Malone from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Turner Center Art Park, 605 North Patterson Street, on Fri., April 19, 2024.

The concert is the sixth of 10 free, live performances in the 2024 Levitt AMP Valdosta Music Series, sponsored by the Mortimer and Mimi Levitt Foundation and the Price-Campbell Foundation.

The Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts will host Wisconsin-based pop rock group Gin, Chocolate, and Bottle Rockets (GCBR) from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Turner Center Art Park, 605 North Patterson Street, on Friday, April 12, 2024.

The concert is the fifth of 10 free, live performances in the 2024 Levitt AMP Music Series, sponsored by the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation and the Price-Campbell Foundation.

Turner Center Announces 3rd Annual “Art of Writing” Contest for Area Youth

The Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts and the Young Writers League (YoWL) are seeking fiction, non-fiction, and poetry entries for the “Art of Writing” contest. The contest is open to middle and high school students in Valdosta, Lowndes County, and throughout south Georgia and north Florida.

The contest is hosted annually and is sponsored in part by the Valdosta United Way. Each year, a different theme that inspires young people to express themselves concerning important topics is chosen. The theme for the third annual competition is “I Have a Dream.” Read More
