DRAWING | MIXED MEDIA | 2D

Youth and adults learn various artistic techniques and textures through classes in drawing, fiber art, and other mixed media methods.

Youth Drawing Class

Offered the 2nd Saturday of each month | 1-3pm

Do you have a youth who loves to draw? Looking for a way to help your child grow their artistic skills? This class will focus on a different drawing technique each month, including areas such as value, optical illusions, gesture drawing, and more!

Craft Academy

Offered the 3rd Saturday of each month | 10am-Noon

In this class, students get crafty to explore various techniques and materials! Each class focuses on a new project that students can take home and enjoy immediately after class and can easily recreate on their own.

Comic & Manga Drawing Class

Offered the 3rd Wednesday of each month | 5-7pm

This class will go over basic anatomy for drawing the human body, and methods for simplifying the body to make it easier to understand and draw.

Fiber Arts Class

Offered the 4th Saturday of each month | 10am-1pm

Beginner Level Rug Hooking
Join Fiber artist Anita Gillis for an introduction to rug hooking and discover a new hobby! Rug hooking is essentially a stress-free art form. It’s similar to coloring, but instead of crayons, we’ll be using beautiful wool! You will study the basics of primitive rug hooking, including equipment, supplies, and techniques.
