END OF YEAR GIVING

Ends December 31, 2024

In the spirit of the holiday season…

…the Lowndes/Valdosta Arts Commission, Inc. Board and the Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts staff are grateful for your continued support that allows us to offer affordable, inclusive spaces through creative art education programming, culturally enriched events, and the excellent year-round entertainment, resulting in a $1.4 million economic impact in our area and part of a $1.3 billion impact across Georgia.

Giving Tuesday, December 3, 2024, kicked off the Turner Center’s End-of-Year Giving Campaign. We invite you to think about what the arts mean to you, your family, our community, and our region. Construction on the Meta Shaw Coleman Children’s Imagination Station has stirred excitement in our community, as this 10,000 square-foot immersive world of hands-on STEAM activities—to be completed in late 2025—will peak the current interests and inspire the future career trajectory of our youth. The Imagination Station is one of five facilities and an Art Park on our Campus that stimulates creativity and innovation in nearly 40,000 visitors of all ages, each year. Scan the QR code to discover how your donation is truly making a difference.

Your thoughtful contributions to these life-learning experiences may qualify for a 100% tax deductible gift if made by December 31, 2024. Thank you for your continued support and friendship. If you have any questions or concerns about your end of year donation, please call us at 229.247.2787.

We wish you a Merry Christmas and hope to see you again soon.
