Join us for a unique and creative “Paint Your Gala Dress” workshop! In this hands-on class, you will transform an ordinary or thrifted dress into a one-of-a-kind, wearable piece of art. This session is designed for all skill levels, with no prior painting or fashion experience required. Students will need an inexpensive or old dress you wish to upcycle. Gentlemen are also welcome; please bring a thrifted suit jacket that fits. The color will need to be medium to light to show the paint. Students are not using metallic paints, so darker values are not an option. The material of fabric can be poly, cotton, satin, silk, or wool. All necessary painting supplies, such as brushes, a variety of paint colors, and guidance materials, will be provided in class. Register HERE.
