Youth and adults learn various artistic techniques and textures through classes in drawing, fiber art, and other mixed media methods.
Colored Pencil Class
Class meets 2nd Saturday of each month | 1-3pm
In this class, students will study drawing, color theory, composition, and the use of value with colored pencils as a fine art medium. This is a great class for all experience levels with colored pencil! Students will start by learning basic color pencil skills, and move towards the development of more advanced skills and a deep appreciation for the medium.
Drawing Class

Do you have a child who loves to draw? Looking for a class to help your child grow their skills in and knowledge of the arts? This class will be focused on a different drawing technique each month. These topics include value, optical illusions, gesture drawing, and much more. Students will learn the basic tools needed to push their drawing skills to the next level no matter what style of art they like to make, while also having fun!
Silk Painting Workshop
August 24 | 10am-Noon
Wrap yourself in an explosion of color you create in this beginner-friendly silk painting workshop! Create an abstract design with dye flowing freely on the silk, and paint another design using marker resist method with a predawn jellyfish. Students will also learn how to create texture with water and salt.

Silk scarves will be heat-set but will still be wet when taken home.
