Fiber Arts Class: Sun Painting

Saturday, June 27 | 10am-1pm

Capture the magic of sunlight and turn it into wearable and decorative art. In this hands-on class, students will explore sun printing on fabric using Dyno Flow fabric paint, stencils, and natural plant materials. Leaves, flowers, and found botanical shapes become tools for creating bold silhouettes and layered designs as sunlight activates the paint to reveal vibrant impressions. Participants will learn how to prepare fabric and arrange stencils and plants for strong compositions. We will experiment with color, and texture. Finished pieces may be used for wall art or a page in your fiber art journal. No prior experience is needed. Expect a relaxed atmosphere where science, nature, and art meet under the sun.
