The Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts hosted its latest Gallery Opening on Monday, June 29. The exquisite show will run through July 29 and features the Southeast Fiber Art Alliance: “Intertwined 2020: Contemporary Southeastern Fiber Art,” Pines and Palms: “We Are Doing Well, Thank You,” Tallahasee’s Judith Birtman’s solo exhibit of ceramic sculpture, 12th Annual City of Valdosta Photo Contest submissions, and a Brass Rubbings Collection of medieval tomb rubbings created by Barbara Weis-Lehmann.
The Turner Center’s East African Art and Fine European Porcelain permanent collections are also on display in the Tillman and Howard Galleries.
This original art graces our seven galleries and most of it can also be admired in the sales galleries on this website or purchased by art enthusiasts. The current exhibition will remain open for FREE public viewing during the Turner Center’s business hours through July 29: Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Friday and Saturday, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
