Celebrate the Arts within the safety of our Galleries!
From Nov. 9, 2020 through Jan. 6, 2021, the Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts is proud to feature the art works of Valdosta artists Julie Bowland, “In a Vivid Light”; Mike Brown, “Southern Flair”; and Dave Richards, “Wood Turning.”
The Turner Center’s permanent European porcelain and African Artifacts collections are also on display in the Howard Gallery and Tillman Gallery, respectively. The Center also features a Gift Shop which contains original art made by local and regional artists. The Gift Shop is open any time the galleries are open.
Because we deeply care for the health and safety of our patrons, artists, members and other stakeholders, the Center continues to practice daily safety precautions, such as: maintaining a clean and safe experience within the galleries; limiting the number of people allowed into the galleries at one time; requiring all to wear masks for the safety of others; and also practicing social distancing guidelines. Staff conducts non-contact temperature checks during events with more than 20 people, and self-sanitizing stations are located throughout the galleries.
Enjoy the galleries, a host of classes, and events, all in the safety of our galleries. Browse our website for information about all we have to offer for your next art experience. We hope to see you soon.
