CULINARY CLASS

Sugar Egg Kid's Culinary Class

Join us for our Sugar Egg Kid’s Culinary Class! These gorgeous, hollow eggs are made entirely of sugar, with a little window opening, and decorated in pastel color frosting. Inside these keepsake eggs, are objects no bigger than a thumbnail…usually an Easter or spring scene. The egg shells are made by packing a sugar and water mixture into molds, and when the outside shell has hardened, the rest of the sugar is scooped out and recycled into another egg. Frosting binds the halves together, frames the window and becomes a decorative element. Inside the eggs, miniature worlds can be made of paper, plastic or molded and dyed sugar. Bring your imagination and get ready to create your own miniature world to keep forever, or give as an Easter gift to someone you love!
