VISUAL & DIGITAL ART

In visual and digital art classes, students explore a variety of visual and digital arts from drawing and painting to creating digital art and more. Our instructors experiment with colors, various materials and mediums, form and the principles of design to create a joyful and meaningful experience in visual and digital arts.

Craft Academy

Class meets 3rd Saturday of each month | 1-3pm

In this class, students explore various techniques and materials to create projects that they can take home and enjoy!

Craft Academy classes are held at the Art Annex,  601 N. Patterson Street, on the Turner Center Campus.

Digital Art

Class meets the 3rd Saturday of each month | 10am – Noon

This class explores a variety of digital art software programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Paint and more. Students receive hands-on instruction and are taught to think creatively and inventively to have a deeper understanding of the impact of technology on art. Students design, propose and evaluate artistic ideas through application of chosen innovative processes and techniques.

Digital Art class is held in the Guardian Bank Computer Lab, 2nd Floor, Turner Center for the Arts, 527 N. Patterson Street.
