Levitt AMP Valdosta Music Series

March 29 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Turner Center for the Arts presents Megan Danielle as part of the FREE Levitt AMP Valdosta Music Series.

Megan Danielle grew up in Douglasville Georgia with 2 sisters and a brother where they did everything together. Music has always been a strong presence in Megan’s life.  Megan says, “since I was a little girl I have always enjoyed listening to music and singing along to anything I’d hear. I was always so shy to pursue it but eventually around the age of 15, I booked my own show at a restaurant in Douglasville. Then at the age of 18, I was singing anywhere I could…in bars, venues, and any place that would have me.  I always knew I wasn’t living up to my full potential and then one night at a show, my Grandpa really influenced me to follow my calling.  It was at that time, ironically, I quit performing altogether to learn more about myself, about God and what plans He had for my life.”

The Levitt AMP Valdosta Music Series is supported in part by the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation, which partners with changemakers and nonprofits across the country to activate underused outdoor spaces, creating welcoming and inclusive destinations where the power of free, live music brings people together, fosters belonging, and invigorates community life. www.levitt.org
