Smile and say “TREATS”! Stop by and visit our pet portrait studio in the Turner Center Art Park. There is a $10 sitting fee for your photo session, or a donation of pet food, which will benefit the Lowndes-Valdosta Humane Society. You will be an active participant in this photography event, so wear comfortable clothes!

Presented by the Center for the Arts Guild
Join us for a wonderful evening of Food & Wine under the stars with the areas finest chefs showcasing their specialty dishes. Featured are fine samples from 12 restaurants, 40 specialty wines, and signature cocktails. Participating restaurants will be Mo’s Mediterranean, Du Meals, Jessie’s, Steel Magnolias, Big Nick’s, 306 North, Covington’s, Friends Grill and Bar featuring Schmoe Farms, Salty Snapper, Woodstack, Ella’s Top Corral, Wiregrass Culinary Arts, and Georgia Beer Company. This year, the Food & Wine Classic will take place in the Turner Center Art Park. Parking available in the main building parking lot and overflow parking areas.

Wall Tapestry 101 Workshop
Beginner Weaving Class! This is a great introduction to the fundamentals of tapestry weaving. Students will learn how to warp a loom, plain weave, basket weave, tie riya knots, remove the project from the loom, and finish the project. Students will be able to take their loom kit home. Yarn and embellishments will be supplied, however students are encouraged to bring their own yarn, fabric strips, and ribbons.
