Class meets 3rd Saturday of each month | 2-4pm
In this class, students get crafty to explore various techniques and materials! Each class will focus on a new project that students can take home and enjoy immediately after class and can easily recreate on their own. In March, students will create two pieces of floral artwork in the styles of two different art periods. One piece will be created using construction paper and color to create flowers and nature in the style of Pop Art, where bold flat colors and lines were used to depict everyday scenes. The second piece will be created using paints in the style of Impressionism, where the brushstrokes and colors show emotion evoked through nature.
